Frank Frangipani-03/21/2010

Former faculty member and friend to many at CHS, Frank Frangipani, passed away due to complications from an unfortunate accident.

He was born to Achille and Bruna Frangipani and raised in Portland. He attended Central Catholic High School and the University of Portland where he earned his bachelor's and master's degree in foreign language followed by a second master's degree in administration. In 1954 Frank started teaching at Nestucca High School for three years. He then moved to Cleveland High School as a teacher , counselor and vice principal for 32 years. The last eight years of his career were spent at Franklin High School serving as vice principal.

He retired to Pacific City in 1987. During retirement, Frank enjoyed dory fishing, hunting and was an active member of the Tillamook Elks Club. Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillian; sons Keith, Brian, Mark and Kent; sister Lori Huffsttler; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
